A Note from Dominique

Allies in Recovery Founder

Like many in the world of social services, our funding (much of it via states receiving federal funds) suddenly ceased this year. As a result, Allies in Recovery will be pausing operations for now.

This is not an easy announcement to make. Allies has offered something deeply valuable: accessible tools and support that shift behavior, rebuild connection, and, we believe, help save lives.

This month also marks a personal anniversary—a moment of profound loss that changed the course of my life forty years ago. Over the past 20 years, it's been my privilege to watch Allies in Recovery become a place of healing and possibility for families navigating a Loved One's substance use.

We'll be doing all we can over the coming months to bring Allies back to fully serving the families desperate to save the life of a Loved One and to restore hope and love to the family.
